The cut-off for the Union Public Service Commission’s Civil Services exam Prelim 2016 may not be more than the previous year as the most candidates who ever appeared in the examination / Assessment which was held on August 7 ,they found that the assessment was difficult this time. Civil Services of India expects that the cutoff marks may be less than the previous years.

Details regarding the UPSC CSAT Expected Cut off marks 2016

The minimum qualifying marks for Different Categories is have been mentioned as under:-

Exam/ Assessment For General Category /For OBC Category /For SC Category/ For ST Category /For PH-1 Category /For PH-2 Category /For PH-3 Category

Civil Services (Prelim)* 110+ /100+ /97+/ 90+/ 90+/ 76+/ 40+ (Only GS). For CSAT There must be at least 33% marks. 

UPSC Prelims Paper Wise Minimum Expected Cut Off Marks 2016

The minimum of 30 marks have to be scored by the Aspirant in Paper-I and 70 marks have to be scored by the Aspirant in Paper-II.

An Aspirant whoever is confident of scoring 115 Marks and out of 200 are in the safe-zone. The borderline Aspirants could be those who will be scoring 110 marks and more and Those aspirants have to keep fingers crossed. The one who is in the safe zone can start their preparation for the main examination. As taking the reference of the previous main papers syllabus and the areas of concentration of the UPSC civil services have to be considered while the preparation in order to score good marks and For good preparation.
